Make sure that the Campus Carry bill is heard in Tallahassee

You Are Batting a 1,000!

We had great news this past week in Tallahassee, first HB 1075(State Lands) passed the Agriculture & Natural Resources Subcommittee 12-0 on Wednesday and HB 4027 (Repeal Red Light Cameras) passed the Economic Affairs committee on Thursday with a vote of 13-3. Your phone calls and e-mails are having an impact and at this point in the session we are moving several good bills forward.

Besides HB 1075 and HB 4027, HB37 (Direct Care) recently passed as well as HB 4001 (Campus Carry) and HB 163 (Open Carry) passed House committees. The one thing all of these bills had in common is that we asked you make phone calls and e-mails before the committee meetings and you responded big time, the result was we got these bills passed. In fact, since the beginning of early committee weeks back in September and up to this week, every alert we sent you of a bill being heard in committee passed, meaning your batting a 1,000.

As you know we have John Hallman and our lobbying team in Tallahassee advocating for liberty on your behalf and John tells us the legislative offices are telling him they are getting swamped with our calls. It is your calls that makes our team in Tallahassee that much more effective in what they do. We are also starting to get Committee Chairs to take notice and scheduling liberty bills on their committee agenda.

There are several more weeks of the 2016 Session and we have some big fights on our hands, but I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that because of your actions we are making real strides in advancing liberty in Tallahassee. If you would like to have the Liberty First Network continue the fight in Tallahassee consider making a donation today

Thank you for taking action and keep up the great work, it is our honor to fight alongside with you.
